About Me.
Growing up in Southern California, I was surrounded by high performance hot rods, prerunners, offroad vehicles and a deep military prescense. I realized that if I wanted to design, build and work on high performance vehicles that I need to gain the skills necessary to be a valuable team member and designer.
In 2006, I joined the United States Marine Corps as a F/A-18 engine, throttle, fuel and secondary power systems mechanic. During my time in the USMC, I was hand-selected to join The Blue Angels allowing me the opportunity to travel across the United States to 26 airshows as an aircraft mechanic. I am honored that I had the opportunity to work with some of the best pilots, conduct pre- and post-flight inspections, analyze engine data such as fuel flow, exhaust gas temperature and drive root cause for non-conformances to repair
After the military, I obtained a mechanical engineering degree focused on high performance vehicle design. My coursework included vehicle dynamics, engine design and developing load cases. I also had the unique opportunity to learn CNC mill and lathe machining and become the lead machinist and suspension designer for our Formula SAE team.
